Leila and James were married at Bordesley Park, a stunning barn and marquee wedding venue just outside of Warwickshire. As a wedding photographer, I shouldn’t have favourites but I bloody love these guys! Leila and James have been at several weddings that I’ve photographed in the past as have many of their guests so it was lovely to see so many familiar faces.
The couple’s emotional and intimate ceremony was held in the venue’s oak-beamed barn, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Once the vows were exchanged, the wedding guests retreated to the gardens for drinks and canapés. Leila is born to be on the stage and while there was no denying that she was the star of the show at her wedding, the guests did have a moment in the spotlight, creating a fun music video for the day. As most of them were singers, actors and performers, they absolutely loved getting in on the action and did an amazing job!
marquee wedding reception
The wedding breakfast took place in the venue’s luxury marquee where guests were able to enjoy the stunning views over the Worcestershire countryside. Inside was just as beautiful as out. The guests were entertained by James and his groomsmen’s speeches, before the new Mr & Mrs took to the dance floor for their first dance as man and wife.
I had an absolute blast as Leila and James’ Bordesley Park wedding photographer. It was my first time shooting at this relatively new wedding venue. This wedding had all the ingredients for a great day – super relaxed, no fuss and guests who know how to party. What’s not to love?!
Wedding photography at Bordesley Park
Bordesley Park makes the perfect venue for a rustic wedding. With it’s collection of barns alongside it’s orchard marquee and cocktail bar, this former farm also boasts amazing views across acres of rolling countryside.
Wedding vows can be exchanged in the Tudor Barn, a a sympathetically converted barn with oak beams, red brick, authentic church pews and original ironmongery. Wedding receptions can take place in the Orchard Marquee with it’s stunning views or in the light and airy Bishops Barn.
It’s extensive grounds and gardens leave a Bordesley Park wedding photographer spoilt for choice with opportunity!
