Birtsmorton Court { Cara & John }

Real Weddings

If there was any wedding that would win the wettest wedding award it would be this one! Last summer’s awful weather gave me a lot of practice shooting wet weddings and it’s a good job! I arrived for bridal prep with my fingers firmly crossed for it to brighten up later! Cara chose a stunning lace dress teamed with Rachel Simpson shoes and a beautiful brooch bouquet by Debbie Carlisle. Birtsmorton Court is a beautiful wedding venue in Worcestershire that has a church on site – this is where Cara & John had their ceremony. It continued to rain non stop until wedding breakfast which meant a lot of umbrellas and a lot of using the shade of the trees for formal photos! I loved the way that Cara & John had decorated the marquee with bunting, birdcages, pearls and lace. Eventually after dinner we got some dry weather so I was able to take Cara & John back outside for a few more couple portraits, yay! Birtsmorton Court is one of those venues which makes for some great evening shots – the fairy lights and coloured lights on the walls just look amazing don’t you think?! I really enjoyed being a part of Cara & John’s day – so much thought and time had been put into planning their wedding that I am thrilled to have been able to give them photos they will treasure forever
